T1) Write Access Denied - Excel Error When Writing More Than One Cell

    Hi everyone,

Some of our customers have encountered a strange issue where, when slicing data in Go Beyond, the user tries to overwrite which exact cell of the forumulae tm1 is referenced by another hardcoded number, a new following error is returned:
    "T1) Write access denied"

Has anyone had this error before? Or do you have an explanation for the things that

    could be?Alan means ????

    Well done

Has anyone come across this b4 error? Or do you have an explanation of what the article might mean????

Re: T1) Write Access Denied - Excel Minimal Write Error

    Hello, Alain,

    a) Do not write muscle data back to the cube when trying to overwrite one section (using the DBRW formula) with the corresponding hardcoded number in the excel spreadsheet in life
    b) elements have read permissions and all users overwrite formulas
    c) Items most of which will be crushed are not based on destruction

The user now needs to enter an "=" sign followed by each value when overwriting a cell with Excel. Note. The user can try not to return data, but
Just use the output of tm1. This seems to be a completely new issue and the user still has the option to do so.

I just looked through the forums so it didn't occur to me that you could use these formulas for streaming instead of relying on DBS. If the details are cut from tm1, then you can immediately "turn off" the record (it seems that it was withdrawn by ?????? and is now in production???). It looks like this particular user might still have it, are they pulling a leg? ?

    Well done

    write access denied tm1

    a) Don't write too much data back to each of our cubes, try to overwrite one cell (with DBRW formulas) with a hardcoded number from an Excel spreadsheet
    b) Elements that get read permission, but the media overwrites, I would say, formulas
    c) Replaced elements are not based on rules

The user at this point must type "=" indicating your name and then the value when you overwrite the cell in Excel. Please note that the user is trying to send data not on his behalf, but
Just manipulate the output directly from tm1. This seems to be just a new issue and the subscriber has always had the opportunity to do so in a positive way.

I just checked the forums and realized that you can post with formulas like this instead of using DBS. When slicing data from tm1, it will be possible to "disable" a specific writeback (it seems that it was disabled?????and then enabled???). It looks like the user was able to do this automatically, are the clients pulling me? ?

I have to understand this, but... Are you ever exactly out? Michael's patterns?

The way DBRW works is TM1 Formula 101. Specifically, User Guide 9.1, Site 616.

    write access denied tm1

Wouldn't it be if you were a point of advancement from TM1 on the basis that the rewrite was important or not. You can briefly disable this feature in DBR/DBRW formulas:

    (c) Use of the body cell protection worksheet. Of course, this is not an option if you want users to be able to override hardcoded numbers at all. Assuming the report is protected without a password (which of course shouldn't protect it, but prevents unintentional changes), ZapFormulas in TM1 Tools is alwaysGenerates formulas that help static values by turning off protection and then reapplying it.
